Mobile evaluation of value

After having done their service, catalytic converters become valuable recycling material. They contain precious metals such as platinum, palladium and rhodium. By analysing Pt, Pd and Rh, the value of disused catalytic converters can be determined.

Our mobile analyser helps you do that. It also analyses the contents of accompanying elements such as W, Zr, Ta, Ce, thus correcting the influence of the ceramic matrix. For this purpose, the ceramic material is pulverised and analysed in the sample cup. Furthermore, the type of catalytic converter can be determined by measuring directly on the ceramic.
