OA-100S

Metal sorting: uncompromisingly fast, easy and tough

The OA-100S operates with the new LIBS-technology (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) and is worldwide the first system that meets the toughest test criteria for military equipment (MIL-STD 810G) and IP54. During these tests, the device is exposed to extreme vibrations, dust, cold and heat. The device also has to resist shock-like hits as well as 26 falls from a height of 90 cm. Due to the IP54 classification, it can also operate in rain. The OA-100S is extremely tough and its battery life of over 10 hours makes it exceptionally enduring.

The LIBS-technology is easy and can be used by everyone after a short instruction. The class 3B laser is not subject to approval; the company concerned just has to present proof that a laser protection officer is on-site.
Working with the OA-100S is very pleasant and fatigue-free for it is very small and light. The combination of touch screen and real keys allows for an unrestricted use even in the rain, with gloves or greasy hands. Dirt or coatings can be removed via the switchable Drill Down-function. Thereby, often there will be no need for time-consuming grinding. Typical areas of application are aluminium alloys, V2/V4, NCT and chromium steel, titanium and nickel alloys, brass, bronze and red brass during the recycle of metals and the fast material verification testing during incoming goods inspection. All alloys are detected within 2 – 3 seconds.

Advantages

  • Excellent for light metals.
  • Super fast sorting of alloys.
  • Small and handy, weighs only 1,5 kg.
  • Foldable display for glare-free reading.
  • Real keys allow for operation in every weather condition.
  • Exceptionally enduring thanks to a battery life of over 10 hours.
  • Little to no sample preparation thanks to Drill Down.™
  • Indestructible hardware in accordance with MIL-STD 810 G and IP54.
