Easy and efficient content uniformity tests

The new and unique transmission Raman-spectrometer TRS100 now ensures an increased product safety during content uniformity tests, while simultaneously saving 60-90% of operating costs compared to the HPLC commonly used. With the TRS, the measurement time for one sample is under one second. Measurement itself is completely non-destructive, making considerably more measurements possible and substantially reducing release time.

  • Non-invasive, non-destructive test for pills, capsules, powders and other dosage forms
  • Applicable for substances, excipients, polymorphous substances and other crystalline forms
  • With content QC software – compliant with 21CFR part11
  • Compliant with GAMP 5
  • Fully automated system
  • Measurement through glass, plastics, coatings, capsule shells, etc.
  • No consumables
  • Individual measurement < one second
  • More than 200 pills in one batch measurement within < 5 minutes
  • Secure documentation with reports and audit trail
  • Quantification of polymorphous substances < 0,5% w/w
  • LIMS interface for an efficient data management
  • Less susceptible to fluorescence than conventional Raman-spectroscopy
  • Fast and easy preparation of the calibration model
  • Excellent reproducibility – completely independent from user

Areas of application
