MX908 Mobile Mass Spectrometer
Fast. Sensitive. Selective.

In critical situations, emergency personnel are on the front line with life and limb. To protect them from dangerous and life-threatening substances, it is necessary to identify these substances even in very small traces. At the same time, user-friendly analyzers with low measurement effort are required in the field. This is where the handheld MX908 comes into play. Critical substances are the primary focus of this target mass spectrometer.
Analytical capabilities
Sensitivity and selectivity characterize the handheld MX908 identifies trace and visible amounts of solids and liquids in real time. With its new aerosol probe, it can also detect hazardous vapors and aerosols.
The substance database is the core of the MX908. It includes narcotics, explosives, toxic industrial chemicals (TIC), and chemical (CWA) and pharmaceutical (PBA) warfare agents. Currently, pesticides have been added, as well as several New Psychoactive Substances (NPS). From pepper spray to TNT, TATP, DMT and thousands of fentanyl derivatives to novichoks and sarin, over 150 relevant substances are already included in the database. Thus, it is excellently equipped to search for critical substances in narcotic and CBRNe scenarios.
MX908 supports police operations
Because the MX908 detects even the smallest traces of a substance quickly and reliably, it can provide crucial information on site for the next steps in the operation. It helps curb the spread of illegal narcotics along transport routes or detect illicit substances during checks at border crossings, airports and train stations. The device identifies traces and residues for investigations, self-protection, and threat detection before and during an operation. The MX908 can also be used to verify the effectiveness of post-deployment decontamination.
MX908 supports CBRNe situations
CBRNe situations include chemical (C), biological (B), radioactive (R), nuclear (N) and explosive (e) hazards. Critical substances also fall into this range. These are chemical or biological substances with immediate harmful effects. When it comes to detecting potentially critical substances, the MX908 is ideally suited because it is both highly sensitive and selective. This means that the results displayed are extremely reliable. The MX908 focuses on trace identification. It takes into account not only traditional chemical warfare agents (CWAs) and controlled substances (narcotics, explosives), but also the threats posed by novichoks as well as potential pharmaceutical warfare agents (fentanyls).
Send results from danger zone via app

The MX908 can send analysis results directly from the hazard zone. Simply download the app, pair the MX908 mobile mass spectrometer with your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth, and request assistance or have the hazard potential assessed by CBRNe expert advisors without delay.
